GIA and other labs can identify origin with specialized testing — “lab-grown” does not mean cubic zirconia or moissanite.

Yes. Many clients choose lab-grown stones for a certified diamond with more flexibility on size and design within a clear budget. You still get a real diamond with an IGI report you can verify.

Yes. Every lab-grown center comes with an IGI certificate. Your ring arrives with the documentation, and you can verify any report number at igi.org.

An IGI report identifies the stone as laboratory-grown and records grading details such as carat weight, color, clarity, and measurements. Use the report number to check the record directly with IGI before you approve the stone. The report documents the diamond — not the finished ring’s metal, setting, or final price.

Most rings are completed 4–5 weeks after 3D approval and payment. Have a hard deadline? Rush production (about 14–21 days) is $250 when a slot is open — tell us your date upfront and we’ll confirm the slot before you pay.

Elongated shapes — oval, pear, and elongated cushion — often create more finger coverage than a round of the same carat weight. The best shape is still the one she loves; we can show options side by side in your soft quote.

Yes. One documented build (Sam & Talli) used a 4.02 ct E/VVS2 oval lab-grown diamond in 14K yellow gold with hidden birthstones. The recorded sale price was $3,349, with about 26 days from start to completion. It is one finished example — not a promise for every ring.

Custom engagement rings are made specifically for each client and are final sale. If something about the finished ring needs attention, contact us — we’ll review it and work with you to determine the appropriate solution. Manufacturing defects are covered by our lifetime craftsmanship warranty.

Every Lavora ring includes a lifetime craftsmanship warranty against manufacturing defects. Email hello@lavoradiamonds.com with photos and your order details. If we confirm a covered defect from photos or inspection, we’ll send you a prepaid shipping label and our jeweler will repair the ring at no charge, including replacing a stone that comes out because of a setting defect.
