How Lavora works
Start with the ring you already saved
Send a ring photo, link, sketch or competing written quote. Lavora will review the design, ask for only what is missing, and reply by text with a personal recommendation and clear custom price. No showroom visit or required call.
Lavora’s current qualification floor for a custom engagement ring is $2,000.
The process
Six clear steps from inspiration to finished ring

Send your inspiration
Share the image or quote that best represents what you want. Include your preferred shape, approximate carat, metal color, ring size, budget and timing if you know them. Missing details can be confirmed by text.

Compare the complete specification
Lavora reviews the center stone, grading report, dimensions, setting, metal, band width, side stones and total. If you supplied another quote, the comparison is made as closely as the available details allow.

Choose a direction
You receive a personal recommendation and custom price. Ask questions, adjust the design or stop there. A call is available when useful, but the standard experience stays text-first.

Review the CAD
After you decide to proceed, the ring is translated into a CAD design. Review the proportions, profile, prongs, band and personal details before production begins.

Approve production
Production begins after payment and CAD approval. Custom rings are final sale once production begins, so confirm the design and written terms before approval.

Complete and deliver
Current custom-ring timing is typically 3–4 weeks after payment and CAD approval. Stone availability, revisions, complexity and delivery needs can change that estimate.

- Timing, return, resize and warranty terms
If the quote omits an important specification, Lavora will label it unknown rather than assuming the rings are identical.

What the written terms mean
Coverage and service boundaries
Manufacturing defects
Lavora covers manufacturing defects. The remedy depends on the verified defect and the existing customer promise.
Wear, damage and loss
Normal wear, accidental damage and ordinary loss require separate paid service or insurance.
Resizing and maintenance
Resizing and routine maintenance are quoted separately unless a complimentary service was already promised to that customer.
Custom final sale
Custom rings are final sale once production begins. Confirm the approved CAD and order terms before that point.
Common questions
Before you start
Do I need to know every ring specification?
No. Send what you have. Lavora will separate confirmed details from open questions and help you choose the remaining specifications.
Do I have to book a consultation?
No. The standard process is text-first. A call can be used when it is genuinely helpful, but it is not required to receive a recommendation or custom price.
Can Lavora compare another jeweler’s quote?
Yes. Send the written quote and Lavora will compare the available stone, setting, service and total details. Lavora does not promise to beat every quote.
When does the 3–4 week estimate start?
The current estimate begins after payment and CAD approval. It is not measured from the first inquiry or inspiration image.
