A pavé band typically adds about $240 to a build. A 3.0ct oval on a pavé band runs roughly $2,275–$2,675 all-in. 2.5ct round with pavé roughly $1,950–$2,300. 3.0ct marquise with pavé roughly $2,675–$3,075.

The question to ask about any pavé band

How are the accent stones held? Shared-prong pavé shows more diamond and less metal but is slightly more delicate. Bead-set pavé is more secure and better if she is hard on her hands. Neither is "better" — but a jeweler who cannot explain the difference is not the one to build it.
